Belmont is turning 100 years old this year! OtMQ vocalist Katie Lipka will be singing the Gershwin tune Someone to Watch Over Me at Belmont’s big birthday bash in October with Las Pulgas Big Band – the song is also 100 years old, having been published in 1926!

In honor of Belmont’s centennial, Of the Moment Quartet figured we’d have fun doing a whole set of jass standards from about that time – what were people listening to in the years before and after Belmont’s founding?

Honeysuckle Rose, I Can’t Give You Anything But Love, St Louis Blues…. it’s a great list. See you there, from 8-10pm at a2 Wine Bar, 117 S B Street, San Mateo on Friday, October 9!
